Business Manager - Investment Business Operations (f/m/d)

The Investment Business Operations team provides support to Investment Professionals across both the Public Markets and Private Markets Investment Platforms.

As a Business Manager within Investment Business Operations, you will primarily partner with the Private Markets Investment teams and various functions, with a focus on fund financing activities, operational matters, and cross-functional coordination.

The role is based in our Frankfurt or Paris office.

What You Do

• Support and contribute to the launch of new Private Markets products
• Assess the operational complexity of new Private Markets product launch initiatives on behalf of the Investment Platform
• Oversee fund financing arrangements for Private Market funds and coordinate related activities, including the establishment of credit facilities and other financing instruments, while collaborating closely with internal functions and financing providers
• Coordinate the implementation of hedging processes for Private Markets funds
• Coordinate the onboarding and implementation of new instruments requested by Investment teams
• Participate in projects and provide ongoing support to Portfolio Management teams
• Coordinate with the Investment team the collection of information required for Private Markets annual fund audit.

What You Bring

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across different areas of the organization, particularly within Private Markets as well as external parties like financing providers
• Highly organized, with the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Ideally 3-5 years of proven experience in project management and delivery of cross-functional initiatives
• Good understanding of the AllianzGI organization
• Knowledge of Private Markets strategies and related operational requirements
• Experience with fund financing implementation (as a preference)
• Strong English language skills mandatory, other European languages are a plus
• AI Skills: Data Analytics, Data Visualization.
