Business Architect (Information Modelling) with PLM Solutions

Next Ventures is searching for a Business Architect with deep information modelling skills and proven automotive manufacturing industry experience. The role involves PLM vehicle design to manufacturing to service, and end‑to‑end transportation of the vehicle.

Consultant must be available on site 2 days per week or 1 week per month at the customer site in either Poland (Roklów), France (Lyon), or Sweden (Gothenburg). Only EU passport holders are considered. The assignment is for 12 months.

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience as an Enterprise Architect with a business‑oriented focus.
• Deep expertise in Information Modelling, especially:
  • Conceptual Information Models
  • Logical Information Models
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven workshop facilitation experience.
• Automotive industry experience required.
• PLM/PDM domain knowledge mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Product & Service Delivery domains.
• Experience maintaining and evolving an Enterprise Business Information Model.
• Ability to document models in LeanIX.

Suitable Candidate Characteristics

• Senior Enterprise Architect or Information Architect.
• Strong business architecture mindset rather than purely technical architecture.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience driving enterprise‑wide information modelling initiatives.
• Background in automotive OEM, truck, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or industrial product companies.

Location & Language

• Based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
• Swedish‑speaking consultant preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Local candidates who can attend the Gothenburg office regularly are strongly preferred.

Summary

This role is best suited for a PLM Enterprise Architect with strong Information Modelling expertise, PLM/PDM knowledge, automotive experience, and the ability to maintain enterprise‑level business information models in LeanIX while facilitating workshops across business domains. The on‑site requirement enhances the attractiveness of local candidates over remote or relocation‑dependent consultants.
