The Opportunity
This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of one of our client's most strategic European markets. As Business Director France, you will go well beyond a traditional commercial leadership mandate: you will combine strategic vision, full business ownership and people leadership to accelerate growth, strengthen market positioning and create long-term impact; both commercially and environmentally. You will report directly to the Sales Director Europe and operate as part of an international leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the growth strategy for the French market, translating opportunities into concrete and measurable business results
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of 8 Sales Managers across the French territory, fostering a high-performance and entrepreneurial culture
- Take full ownership of commercial performance, pricing strategy and P&L results
- Strengthen the company's market position by building long-term relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders across France
- Collaborate closely with international teams and European headquarters to ensure strong alignment between strategy and execution
Candidate Profile
You are an entrepreneurial and strategic business leader who thrives on growth, ownership and creating tangible impact.
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in commercial leadership, preferably within an international B2B or industrial environment
- Proven track record in developing and executing growth strategies and go-to-market plans with measurable results
- Strong business acumen combining data-driven decision-making with sharp commercial instinct
- Solid experience in pricing, contract negotiations and full P&L ownership
- Fluent in French and English; genuine willingness to travel across France and internationally
Your Team
As Business Director France, you will lead a team of 8 Sales Managers covering the full French territory. You will work in close collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Finance and HQ leadership to ensure strong alignment between commercial strategy and field execution.
