Business Development Specialist – Offshore Wind & Subsea Cables

An international cable manufacturer is expanding its commercial presence across Europe and is looking to appoint a Business Development Specialist to support growth across the offshore wind and power transmission sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to develop their career within submarine cables, HV/HVDC transmission and offshore energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support business development activities across France and Southern Europe
• Build relationships with utilities, TSOs, developers, EPC contractors and key industry stakeholders
• Identify and support new project and tender opportunities
• Assist with market intelligence, competitor analysis and commercial strategy
• Support customer meetings, conferences and industry events
• Work closely with international commercial and technical teams

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience within offshore wind, transmission, power cables, utilities, EPC, renewable energy or related infrastructure sectors
• Background in business development, sales, commercial, tendering or account management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercial mindset with willingness to develop within an international environment
