Business Development & Project Management Lead – European Luxury Maisons

Role

The Business Development & Project Management Lead will develop and grow strategic partnerships with luxury jewelry Maisons across Europe, with an initial focus on Paris. This person will identify new business opportunities, build senior-level relationships and guide projects from the initial introduction and creative brief through development, costing, sampling, production and delivery. The role requires a combination of commercial acumen, luxury-industry credibility and hands‑on project leadership. Acting as the link between European clients and the company’s design, sourcing and manufacturing teams, this person will ensure that every project meets the exacting standards of the world’s leading luxury houses. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the owners, with significant autonomy and long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute the European business development strategy, focused on Parisian luxury Maisons.
• Establish relationships with senior decision‑makers across jewelry, product development, sourcing, procurement and operations.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new accounts, projects and long‑term manufacturing partnerships.
• Present the brand’s design, development, diamond‑sourcing and manufacturing capabilities to prospective clients.
• Translate client concepts and technical briefs into clear development and production plans.
• Lead projects from initial brief through design development, prototyping, costing, approval, production and final delivery.
• Coordinate closely with design, merchandising, engineering, sourcing, quality and manufacturing teams in India and North America.
• Manage timelines, commercial terms, margins, quality standards and delivery expectations across multiple projects.
• Anticipate project risks, resolve issues quickly and maintain clear communication between clients and internal stakeholders.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and relevant jewelry and luxury trade shows.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor capabilities, category developments and evolving Maison requirements.
• Build the processes and infrastructure required to support sustained European growth.

Candidate Profile

• Established experience in business development, account management or project leadership within fine jewelry, high jewelry, diamonds or luxury manufacturing.
• Strong network or demonstrated credibility with Parisian and European luxury Maisons.
• Thorough understanding of jewelry design, product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing technically complex, high‑value projects from concept through production.
• Commercially driven, with a record of winning new business and growing strategic accounts.
• Able to engage confidently with creative, technical, procurement and senior executive stakeholders.
• Strong project‑management skills with exceptional attention to quality, detail and deadlines.
• Comfortable working across cultures, time zones and international operating teams.
• Entrepreneurial and hands‑on, with the judgment to operate effectively in a family‑owned global business.
• Fluent English required; French strongly preferred. Additional European languages are advantageous.
• Willing and able to travel regularly within Europe and to India and North America as required.
