Business Development Manager – Strategic Markets (m/f)

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic customer and market growth initiatives across Europe
• Identify new business opportunities through market and competitive analysis
• Build long‑term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Support regional sales teams and align activities with global go‑to‑market strategies
• Collaborate with international teams to develop customer‑focused solutions
• Represent IPG Photonics at industry events and conferences
• Work with Product Line Managers and Applications Engineering to ensure solutions are tailored to evolving customer and market requirements

Profile

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in business development, sales, or key account management in an industrial or high‑tech environment
• Experience in materials processing and laser technology
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally
