Business Development Manager – Food & Packaging (France)
Location: France (National / Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Car / Allowance
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers within food manufacturing, retail and foodservice
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (procurement, operations, NPD, technical teams)
- Sell a value-led, consultative packaging solution
- Manage the full sales process — from prospecting through to closing deals
- Develop and execute a clear commercial plan for your territory
- Track market trends, sustainability legislation, and competitor activity
- Partner internally with technical, operations and supply chain teams to deliver solutions
- Open new accounts and drive growth, not just maintain relationships
Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales / business development
- Experience selling into food manufacturers, processors, or foodservice networks
- Ability to sell technical or value-driven solutions
- Strong commercial drive with evidence of winning new business
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue
- Self-motivation and comfort working in a field-based role
- Fluent French, with English ideally for wider group communication
