Business Development Manager | Circular Chemicals & Packaging | Europe

Cyclone Technology is an industrial-scale recycling technology company headquartered in Putian, China.

Cyclone has built a strong recycled polyester platform through bottle-to-textile and textile-to-textile recycling, combining innovation, traceability, production scale and partnerships with leading global brands.

Cyclone is now expanding in Europe across recycled PET packaging and recycled monomers for specialty chemicals.

The company is building a local team to develop business with chemical companies, packaging players, FMCG companies and global Brand Owners.

Role:

• Build the European commercial pipeline for r-PET packaging and recycled monomers
• Open doors with brands, converters, chemical players and technical partners
• Qualify customer needs: price, volume, specs, timing and buying potential
• Turn interest into meetings, trials, offers, negotiations and revenue
• Support pricing, proposals and deal preparation with Product Manager and HQ China
• Track pipeline value, blockers, next actions and expected business impact
• Create qualified revenue opportunities for Cyclone in Europe

Profile:

• 10+ years in B2B sales, business development or key account management
• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business or related field
• Background in specialty chemicals, polymers, packaging materials or related industrial markets
• Proven ability to open new customers and manage complex sales cycles
• Comfortable selling technical products to chemical, packaging and FMCG customers
• PET, polyester or recycling experience is welcome but not required
• Fluent English; comfortable working in an international Europe-Asia environment
• Entrepreneurial, practical, autonomous and comfortable in a lean build-up environment

Scope & Operating Model:

• Based in Europe, close to a major airport
• Travel 30% for customer visits, events, trials and HQ China alignment
• Report to the Vice President Business Development
• Work closely with the Product Manager and HQ teams in China
• Operate in a Europe-China matrix organization
• Customer interfaces: chemical companies, converters, packaging companies, FMCG companies and global Brand Owners
