Our client is an established and innovative manufacturer of customised thermoplastic compounds and color masterbatches for the plastics industry. With more than 50 sites worldwide, they are locally rooted yet globally active. Within the field of soft thermoplastic compounding, they hold a strong market position and offer tailored material solutions along with outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities:
- Market analysis & networking – map the French market, identify key OEMs, TIER1/TIER2, and build lasting relationships. Territory: France, with possible expansion to Southern Europe and North Africa.
- OEM approval management – define and roll-out approval process of OEMs.
- New business development – identify opportunities, work with R&D to tailor solutions and manage projects to industrial launch.
- Project leadership – manage all phases from first contact to project closure (2 industrial orders), in close collaboration with technical and commercial teams.
- Customer care & account development – handle and grow existing direct accounts in your region.
- CRM & reporting – document your activities and report key project updates to the management team.
- Product focus – concentrating on TPE products but also considering other thermoplastics and rubber compounds offered by the company.
- Technical and commercial background – ideally in plastics and automotive industry.
- Proven B2B sales experience in France and optionally in Southern Europe, with measurable success.
- Network and contacts – solid network in the automotive industry, including established contacts with OEMs and automotive tiers.
- Strong customer focus & business mindset – understanding needs and offering solutions that create value.
- Language skills – Fluent in French and business-level English; German would be an advantage.
- Strategic communicator with a hands-on mentality – combining strong communication skills with strategic thinking and the ability to work effectively across teams and cultures.
- Willingness to travel – for customer visits and collaboration with teams at their sites, mainly in Germany.
- Responsibility for the market – you take ownership of your region and grow our automotive footprint in France.
- International collaboration – close cooperation with colleagues, particularly in Germany.
