Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toulouse. In this position, the individual will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and manage relationships with clients in the electronics and semiconductor sectors, and promote Intraspec Technologies' failure analysis and Magnetic Microscopy services. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering technical and commercial presentations, coordinating proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company objectives. The role also involves collaborating with technical and research teams to understand service capabilities, contributing to marketing and outreach activities, and monitoring market trends to inform strategic growth initiatives. The Business Development Manager will be expected to maintain accurate sales pipeline data and report on business development activities to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and contract negotiation.
- Background or familiarity with electronics, semiconductors, or related technical domains, ideally with exposure to failure analysis or testing services.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in en_US; proficiency in French and additional languages is an asset.
- Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities, with experience using CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, research-driven environment.
- Previous experience in B2B technical sales, business development, or consulting in high-tech industries is highly beneficial.
