Mission

Drive SUNMI's commercial growth in France by developing strategic industrial and enterprise key accounts, accelerating market expansion, and strengthening SUNMI's position as a leading provider of Android-based business solutions.

The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, build long-term relationships with key decision makers, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to strategic account development. The role requires a highly self-motivated individual who thrives in an international and multicultural environment and enjoys creating new business opportunities from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities across France with a strong focus on industrial and enterprise key accounts.
  • Develop business within strategic verticals including Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, Transportation, Healthcare, Hospitality, and other enterprise sectors.
  • Build and execute territory and account development plans to achieve sustainable business growth.
  • Generate and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and partner engagement.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

Key Account Management

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with enterprise customers, system integrators, distributors, software partners, and key end users.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer business challenges and propose tailored SUNMI hardware and solution offerings.
  • Develop long-term account strategies to maximize customer value and business growth.

Commercial Performance

  • Achieve assigned revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, contract management, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with European Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Support, and Service teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with SUNMI Headquarters to communicate market requirements, customer feedback, product localization needs, and certification priorities.
  • Support regional marketing initiatives, customer events, and product launches.

Customer Success

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal resources to resolve commercial and technical issues efficiently.
  • Build long-term partnerships based on trust, responsiveness, and continuous value creation.
  • Support customers in maximizing the adoption and business value of SUNMI solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments within the French market.
  • Identify new market opportunities and provide actionable market insights to support regional strategy.
  • Recommend product and business improvements based on customer and market feedback.

Brand Representation

  • Represent SUNMI at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and partner events.
  • Promote SUNMI's brand, products, and innovative solutions within the French enterprise ecosystem.
  • Act as a trusted ambassador for SUNMI across the French market.

Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of successful B2B business development or key account management experience within enterprise technology, industrial solutions, mobility, POS, IoT, or related industries.
  • Proven experience developing new business and managing strategic enterprise customers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with distributors, system integrators, software partners, or enterprise end users is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly self-driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with a strong hunter mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented approach.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across France and occasionally within Europe.

Languages

  • Native or fluent French.
  • Professional English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
