Position Overview

Reporting to the SAM France Managing Director, this position is accountable to understand our market (France, Belgium, Netherlands) and identify new growth opportunities, plan and execute new client lead generation activities via several communication channels (email, social, conferences, etc.), convert leads into sales opportunities, and collaborate with KAM to nurture and expand business with existing key accounts.

This position sits on the SAM France team for the consumer and sensory business and is accountable for sales revenue generated with new clients with the opportunity to earn quarterly commission based on achievement. The position may be based in Paris, Nantes, or Aix-en‑Provence.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • New client sales
    • Identify, target and engage new accounts across strategic sectors, including Food, Beverage, Alcohol, Health & Beauty, Pet Food, QSR, Sports equipment via social, direct email, industry conferences and other means.
    • Re‑engage lapsed clients to rebuild relationships and generate new opportunities.
    • Leverage SAM France strategic client partnerships to create new opportunities.
    • Conduct market monitoring to understand trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
    • Ensure regular updates to Research Directors on prospected clients and ongoing briefs, lead internal commercial meetings with a constructive dynamic.
  • Marketing / Seed the SAM brand
    • In collaboration with SAM marketing build following of SAM LinkedIn page among SAM France clients and prospects.
    • Build a robust B2B database and improve engagement through effective contact management.
    • Create and manage an active emailing strategy with news and calls to action for current and prospective clients.
    • Contribute to the on‑going development and optimization of digital sale materials.
    • Handle the organization of trade shows and conferences. Offer to participate in new events.
  • Collaborate with research managers to ensure a high‑quality proposal is delivered to new client opportunities and to support their commercial skill building.

Education And Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in a sales related field as consumer research, ideally including sensory or marketing research and new product development.
  • Bachelor degree in a marketing, scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
  • Advanced degrees preferred.

Rattaché(e) à la Direction France, vous êtes responsable de la bonne compréhension de nos marchés (France, Belgique, Pays‑Bas), d’identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance, de mettre en œuvre de nouvelles activités de génération de prospects via plusieurs canaux de communication (email, réseaux sociaux, conférences, etc.), de convertir les prospects en opportunités commerciales, et de collaborer avec les KAM afin de développer les comptes clés existants.

Vous intégrez l’équipe SAM France, avec une responsabilité directe sur le chiffre d’affaires issu des nouveaux clients, et la possibilité d’obtenir une commission trimestrielle en fonction des résultats.

Le poste peut être basé à Paris, Nantes ou Aix‑en‑Provence.

Responsabilités principales

Développement de nouveaux clients

  • Identifier, cibler et engager de nouveaux comptes dans différents secteurs stratégiques : Food, Beverage, Alcool, Health & Beauty, Pet Food, QSR, Équipement sportif (via réseaux sociaux, emails directs, conférences, etc.)
  • Réactiver des clients inactifs pour renouer la relation et générer de nouvelles opportunités
  • Valoriser les partenariats stratégiques existants de SAM France pour créer de nouvelles ouvertures commerciales
  • Assurer une veille marché : tendances, concurrence, besoins clients
  • Effectuer des mises à jour régulières auprès des Research Directors sur les prospects et briefs en cours
  • Animer les réunions commerciales internes dans une dynamique constructive

Marketing / Activation de la marque SAM

  • Développer, avec l’équipe marketing, l’audience de la page LinkedIn SAM auprès des clients et des prospects français, belges ou néerlandais.
  • Construire une base de données B2B solide, améliorer l’engagement via une gestion active des contacts
  • Concevoir et piloter une stratégie emailing (news, call‑to‑action) pour clients et prospects
  • Contribuer à l’évolution des supports commerciaux digitaux
  • Organiser les salons et conférences, proposer de nouveaux événements
  • Collaborer avec les Research Managers pour assurer la qualité des propositions commerciales et renforcer leurs compétences sur les aspects business

Profil recherché

  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans une fonction commerciale en études consommateurs, idéalement incluant du sensoriel, du marketing research ou du développement de nouveaux produits
  • Licence en marketing, sciences, business ou domaine équivalent (ou expérience professionnelle équivalente)
  • Diplômes avancés appréciés
