About You
This is a strategic role reporting directly to the Head of Business Development. Your mission is to initiate, develop and accelerate the adoption of MultiSense® within public and private healthcare institutions across the Netherlands.
Your geographical coverage will primarily focus on the Netherlands, with potential expansion to the broader Benelux region depending on market traction and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and engage key stakeholders within Dutch hospitals and clinics, including primarily surgeons, anesthesiologists, head nurses and hospital directors. Secondary targets include biomedical engineers, IT directors, and research and innovation teams.
- Manage the complete sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing, including long and complex sales cycles typical of the healthcare sector.
- Organise and lead product presentation meetings, either in person or remotely.
- Set up try‑and‑buy agreements and support their conversion into commercial contracts.
- Actively follow up on project implementation and collaborate closely with the RDS management team.
- Represent RDS at trade shows, medical congresses and relevant healthcare events.
Qualifications & Profile
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales or market development, ideally within the Dutch hospital sector.
- Established understanding of key hospital decision‑makers involved in medical technology adoption, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, head nurses and hospital management.
- Strong command of long, complex and multi‑stakeholder sales cycles specific to healthcare purchasing.
Language Skills
- Dutch: native or fluent, essential for interacting with the Dutch healthcare ecosystem.
- English: professional working proficiency, written and spoken.
- French: not required, but considered a plus.

- Highly autonomous, self‑starting profile with strong sales discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and natural ease when communicating with healthcare professionals and medical staff.
- Scientific curiosity and a strong interest in new technologies, digital health and e‑health innovation.
- Ability to work in an early‑market environment, with a pragmatic and hands‑on approach.
Location & Conditions
Contract type: consultant or employment contract, to be confirmed depending on profile.
Location: residence required in the Netherlands, ideally with easy access to major hospital hubs.
- Travel: regular travel within the assigned territory, with occasional travel to RDS headquarters in Strasbourg for onboarding, training and team meetings.
- Compensation: competitive package based on experience, seniority and local market practice, including fixed and performance‑based components.
- Availability: as soon as possible.
