Greenvolt Next France is looking for a B2B Business Developer to join its team as part of its activities in promoting, implementing, and managing collective self-consumption energy solutions, as well as similar projects.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, especially when preparing presentations and reports for decision‑making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach the annual sales and contribution margin targets.
- Conduct market research and identify prospects for the company’s solutions in line with its strategy.
- Contact and meet (in person or remotely) with prospects to present the company’s products and services and identify business opportunities.
- Define and analyze customer needs to tailor the offer to their specific expectations.
- Establish, develop, and maintain long‑lasting and positive business relationships with prospects and existing clients.
- In coordination with the technical team, present commercial offers and lead negotiations, including pricing and other business terms.
- Represent the company at events, trade shows, and demonstrations.
- Develop business activity according to the processes defined by the company, including using CRM tools and tracking systems.
- Collect the information and documents needed for the business process and keep them updated.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Be the go‑to contact for clients in your portfolio for all questions related to the business relationship with the company and ensure a quick and effective response to their requests.
Requirements
- Post‑graduate degree in a relevant area (Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, MBA; an Electrical Engineering degree is a plus).
- Around 5 years of professional experience in energy.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems will be an asset.
- Effective communication and rapport‑building skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the Renewable Energy Market industry with a strong record of sales achievements.
- In‑depth knowledge of the DG French Energy Market and best practices.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- A proactive personality, results‑oriented and with a strong sense of initiative.
- Agility and the ability to react quickly in uncertain situations.
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- Solid experience using CRM and sales management tools.
- Excellent skills in sales, negotiation, and business relationship development.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
