Overview
Business Developer – Aerospace and Defense / Manufacturing (H/F) – Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth in the Aerospace & Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing and closing high-value deals and will help expand our footprint across strategic accounts. This role requires strong commercial acumen, deep industry insight, and the ability to lead complex pre-sales engagements with cross-functional teams.
Mission
Your mission will be to
- develop a customer portfolio to acquire new customers and retain existing ones .
- Build & maintain senior-level client relationships within the Aerospace & Defense industry
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities
- Lead commercial aspects of large-scale pre-sales engagements
- Develop tailored value propositions aligned with client needs
- Monitor commercial performance and ensure revenue growth targets are met
Candidate profile
- 10-15 years of business development experience in an IT services company (ESN)
- Proven track record in Aerospace & Defense sector
- Strong understanding of complex, long-cycle sales process
- Excellent negotiation, communication and client facing skills
- Appreciated experience in the sale of offshore solutions/ services
- Fluent English and French
