Business Creation and Entrepreneurship Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide information and support to individuals planning to start or take over a business
• Inform, advise, and provide individual follow-up to project owners, referring them to specialist services when necessary
• Prepare financial forecasts and business plans
• Lead information sessions on business start-ups and takeovers
• Deliver training in business management and business development
• Assist with preparing applications for financial aid and monitor their progress
• Promote the network’s range of services
• Advise and support business owners in the Moulins area with business development and succession
• Inform and assist business owners with developing their activities, referring them to specialist services when necessary
• Inform and assist craft business owners who are selling or transferring their businesses
• Deliver training on additional specialist topics
• Promote the range of services to craft business owners
• Represent and promote the craft sector across the agency’s area
• Represent the CMA to public- and private-sector partners
• Work with the area’s designated craft-sector representative to develop new initiatives

Requirements

• Higher education qualification at bachelor’s level or above in business management, economics, and/or law
• Initial experience within a support network for business founders and companies, or in banking
• A lack of a formal degree may be offset by proven experience in this type of role
