As a Business Controller Insights at Action, you will play a critical role in translating data into actionable insights that drive performance and growth across the organization. This position operates within a fast-paced international environment, focusing on providing financial insights to support various business units. Your analyses will enable informed decision‑making about costs, performance, and strategic initiatives, ultimately impacting Action's ambitious growth agenda. Collaborating closely with Finance Business Partners and cross‑functional teams, you'll ensure that management receives timely and relevant reports, facilitating effective oversight of financial operations. This role leverages both your financial expertise and analytical skills, emphasizing a hands‑on approach to financial practices and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance management reports and dashboards.
• Conduct financial analyses within Group Business Control (GBC).
• Guide the budget and forecast processes, including period closings.
• Collaborate intensively with Finance Business Partners to assess business performance.
• Propose improvements in financial processes and reporting methods.

Required Skills

• Completed university degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a controlling role.
• Proficient with Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI and SAP Analytical Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of financial administration and experience in period close processes.
• Familiarity with GBC processes and the retail sector.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
