As our Business Controller France , you will serve as a collaborative and strategic financial partner to our French business unit. You will thoughtfully ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting while nurturing robust forecasting and budgeting processes. Acting as a vital, supportive bridge between finance and operations, you will work closely with local sales leadership, administrative teams, and regional shared service centers to gently optimize financial performance and provide meaningful insights that guide our shared decision-making.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Month-End Closing & Reporting: Nurture the monthly financial closing process in harmonious collaboration with the Record-to-Report Accountant, ensuring timely and accurate sharing of monthly figures.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Thoughtfully partner with the Country Financial Manager (CFM) to prepare for, facilitate, and successfully navigate our yearly financial audits together, as well as any other compliance matters which might arise.
- Empathetic Forecasting & Planning: Work closely with the Sales Director to build forward-looking order and sales forecasts, and lead the collaborative preparation of the comprehensive yearly budget for the French entity.
- Overhead & Risk Management: Own and continuously update overhead cost forecasts, thoughtfully identifying potential financial risks and sharing supportive opportunities for improvement.
- Shared Services Collaboration: Act as the local liaison and support system for our centralized Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams in Bulgaria, fostering smooth, transparent, and cooperative workflows.
- Divisional Support: Serve as a responsive, helpful point of contact to analyze and address financial queries from various corporate divisions, maintaining open and transparent communication.

What you bring to the role:
- Educational Background: A Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, or a related field from a University or Business School, bringing a dedicated foundation to our team.
- Valuable Experience: A minimum of 5 years of supportive experience within an international group. A background navigating French legislative requirements and working harmoniously with shared service functions is advantageous, while working within a strict reporting deadline environment is essential.
- Collaborative & Global Mindset: Strong interpersonal and communication skills (fluent English B2/C1 minimum) to comfortably connect and influence stakeholders, paired with highly valued exposure to cross-functional teams across different geographies.
- Organized & Analytical Depth: A detail-oriented, thoughtful analytical approach balancing the big picture with a proven track record of managing competing demands under pressure, prioritizing, and delegating effectively to ensure optimal outcomes.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with large ERP systems—specifically SAP and Hyperion user experience—is highly preferred to support our shared technological processes.
- Adaptable, Driven & Innovation-Minded: A self-starter with a genuine enthusiasm to learn, demonstrating a caring adaptability within our vibrant, multicultural environment, alongside a strong willingness to embrace and develop AI initiatives.
