POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Business Intelligence & Controller to support the company's profitable growth in France.

This role serves as the business partner between Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for commercial price governance, business planning, financial performance analysis and management reporting, ensuring that business decisions are aligned with the company's profitability objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and validate customer price lists submitted by different sales channels.
• Analyze product value chain and profitability and ensure pricing complies with the approved Business Plan (BP).
• Verify margin performance by customer, product category and sales channel before price approval.
• Maintain and upload approved sales price lists into the ERP system to ensure accurate order processing.
• Monitor pricing execution and support pricing optimization initiatives.

2. Business Planning & Financial Forecasting

• Support annual Business Plan (BP), quarterly forecast and monthly financial outlook.
• Monitor monthly sales performance against the annual BP.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin and profitability trends by customer, product and channel.
• Identify business risks and opportunities impacting annual targets.
• Provide recommendations to management to ensure achievement of annual sales and profitability objectives.

3. Business Performance Analysis

• Prepare monthly and Year-to-Date (YTD) business performance analysis.
• Analyze financial performance by:
• Customer
• Product category
• Product model
• Evaluate Gross Margin, Operating Expenses and Operating Profitability.
• Identify key drivers affecting business performance and profitability.
• Develop actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Prepare regular management reports and business dashboards.
• Present business insights and financial analysis to the management team.
• Build and improve reporting models using financial and commercial data.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and business intelligence tools.

5. Cross-functional Business Partner

• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Headquarters.
• Translate financial information into meaningful business recommendations.
• Participate in commercial decision-making and strategic business discussions.
• Support cross-functional projects related to profitability improvement and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Business Analysis.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Electronics or Home Appliance industries is preferred.
• Experience working in an international company is highly desirable.

Skills

• Strong financial analysis and business modeling skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, profitability analysis and business planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and management reporting skills.

Languages

• Fluent French.
• Chinese language skills are highly preferred.
