Role Overview

The Commercial Planning & Steering Analyst sits in the Commercial Planning and Steering organization and is responsible for all mid‑to‑long‑term demand planning and short‑term forecasting that drives steering actions for the business. Working closely with core units—Marketing, Convenience, Supply, Finance—the analyst supports BESTSECRET’s long‑term success by driving data‑driven insights, planning, and forecasting to provide transparency to business drivers and recommendations for key decisions.

Main Responsibility Areas

• Actively participate in the monthly forecasting process to support effective decision‑making and smooth operations.
• Develop forecasting demand planning models using statistical methods for predictive analysis of sales trends and customer behaviour.
• Drive analysis to generate actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations based on data‑driven insights for both tactical and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the Data Team to develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards, tracking KPIs related to topline metrics, customer behaviour, and model accuracy.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a business/financial analyst, sales planner, or consultant.
• Master's degree in business, engineering, or finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with critical‑thinking abilities and a strong business understanding.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Excel, including VBA macros and modeling techniques.
• Effectively communicate and manage stakeholders; present analytical insights to diverse audiences.
• A dedicated team player who can also drive work autonomously.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.

It Would Be a Plus If

• Experience creating or editing dashboards in Power BI.
• Prior experience in the e‑commerce industry.
