Job Description

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Business Auditor (f/m) to join our Quality and Business audits department based in Marignane, France. Join us to shape the future of aeronautics and help protect lives during missions accomplished thanks to our helicopters. The Marignane site, the 3rd largest industrial site in France, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high‑tech, inclusive, and environmentally friendly working environment. You will have a unique professional experience at the heart of the manufacturing of our helicopters.

Your future missions

The Quality and Business Audit department provides independent and objective assurance and advisory to secure compliance and continuously improve the organization's operations. Within this department, the Business Audit & Internal control team leverages internal audits and internal control testing to reduce risk exposure while optimising opportunities for efficiency and resilience, and delivers independent advice to decision‑makers on high‑stake topics.

Your challenges

The Business Auditor will primarily be responsible for leading audits or investigations that are part of the annual internal audit plan.

  • Lead preparation work to frame the audit scope, identify testing methodologies appropriate for the audit, and plan schedule and resources accordingly;
  • Perform internal audit fieldwork;
  • Deliver audit conclusions and recommendations, and engage stakeholders into corrective action definition and implementation;
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action definition;
  • Communicate main audit highlights to top management and main stakeholders;
  • Monitor and support stakeholders in action closure;
  • Decide on audit closure and communicate on benefit and residual risks of audit action plan;
  • Coordinate and engage stakeholders along the audit process and inform management of potential risks and blocking points.

Internal Control System responsibilities

  • Engage internal stakeholders in Internal Control by promoting implementation of the expected governance and awareness within the organization;
  • Support functions in deploying internal control by providing guidance and support in systemic risk identification, mapping of controls and testing implementation;
  • Monitor testing results and corrective actions with the responsible action owners;
  • Efficiently coordinate with the internal control cross‑divisional team, and report on progress and blocking points on own scope;
  • Consolidate testing results for the Helicopters division, and elevate major risks or needs;
  • Contribute to the maturity of the governance model of internal control (lessons learned, corrective actions and continuous improvement).

Your profile

  • Professional experience in audits, internal control, consulting services or risk management. Auditor qualification will be provided internally if not available;
  • Strong analytical and methodical competences;
  • Project and risk management skills;
  • Financial knowledge;
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders;
  • High ethical and compliance standards and commitment to act with integrity;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an international environment;
  • Languages: English and French are mandatory, German is a plus.
