Business Analyst Apprentice

Mission & main activities

To support CAPZA’s continued growth and integration within BNP Paribas Asset Management Alts, we are looking for a Business Analyst Apprentice to join our Data & IT team and contribute with the support of the apprenticeship supervisor to the transformation of our operational and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data architecture and data quality across core operational tools; notably:

  • eFront (Middle Office, reporting, investor data, valuations)
  • Allvue (Portfolio Monitoring, data flows, dashboards)
  • AirFund investor portal (data consistency)
  • Salesforce investment dealflow (reporting)
• Analyse data flows, reconciliations and controls across systems and interfaces between investment, middle-office and reporting tools by identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
• Contribute to the documentation and improvement of application usage, workflows and data models.
• Participate in cross‑functional transformation projects covering IT, digital, ESG, data, organizational topic.
• Support the evolution of IT platforms in line with business needs and strategic priorities (portfolio monitoring, automation, reporting and dashboards).
• Assist in projects related to the integration of CAPZA within BNP Paribas Asset Management ALTs operating and IT frameworks.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Master’s degree (or equivalent) with a specialization in business analysis, computing, applied mathematics or similar.
• Strong interest in finance, asset management or alternative investments.
• Familiarity (or strong appetite to learn) financial and operational platforms.
• Solid analytical skills and ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of SQL and different programming languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple topics in parallel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and business teams.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented, proactive and curious.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
