Business Analyst

Job location: Onsite Strasbourg, France.

Job Function

• Analyse functional and non-functional IT requirements in line with the applicable methodology and toolset
• Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure business needs, concerns and requirements are accurately captured within requirements specifications
• Provide input into low-level solution design, including design issues and patterns
• Analyse and define specifications relating to integration with other applications and technology components
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects
• Create and maintain models using recognised modelling tools based on predefined business and technical requirements
• Support testing, technical documentation, deployment, training, evaluation and reporting activities

Required Experience

• University degree in IT or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Minimum 2 years of UML and modelling experience
• Experience using modelling and design tools such as ARIS, Enterprise Architect (EA) or similar
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and their application to functional solutions
• Experience using model-based representations to analyse and structure complex or conflicting business information
• Experience supporting testing, technical documentation, technical training and deployment activities
• Good knowledge of relational database systems
• Excellent written and spoken English

Location

The assignment will involve work from company premises and/or customer premises in Strasbourg.
