Business Analyst
Overview
rhi is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our clients team based in Mercu Aspire KL Eco City. This is a contract position until the 1st Dec 2026 – maternity cover.
- Hybrid working arrangement (60:40)
- Our client will not provide a laptop – windows machine preferable
- Malaysia normal working hours – 8.30am – 5.30pm
Responsibilities
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, the ability to operate independently, and experience working in Agile delivery environments. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be), supporting delivery through user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring solutions meet business and operational needs.
Qualifications
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline
Experience:
- Must have min 5-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Agile environments
- Must have proven experience working as an Agile Business Analyst, including active participation in Scrum ceremonies
- Must have strong background in IT projects/ software
- Must have strong expertise in business requirements analysis and engineering (user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements)
- Must have Sprint and Story development including Acceptance Criteria and Testing knowledge and verification skills
- Good to have experience in any system ADO or JIRA
- Business analysis and requirement engineering
- Stakeholder management
- User story writing and backlog management
- Strong communication and problem-solving
