Bulky Warehouse Manager M/F

As a Bulky Warehouse Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations related to bulky and oversized goods at JINGDONG Development France . You will ensure the efficient storage, handling, inventory management, and distribution of large and heavy products while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize daily warehouse operations for bulky and oversized goods, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation processes.
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with logistics, transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational processes tailored to bulky inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards, with particular attention to the handling of heavy and oversized products.
• Manage warehouse equipment, including maintenance planning, procurement, and operational readiness of forklifts, pallet trucks, and specialized material-handling equipment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular performance reports, identify operational improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop and manage warehouse budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Warehousing principles and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of warehouse management experience, including significant experience managing bulky, oversized, or heavy goods operations.
• Proven track record of optimizing warehouse performance, improving operational efficiency, and leading successful process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control methodologies, and warehouse best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken. Mandarin Chinese would be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to warehousing and material handling.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Lean Management, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and operational excellence programs is highly desirable.
