Bulky Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

As Bulky Warehouse Manager you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of bulky item warehouse operations for Jingdong Development France, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of large and heavy goods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily warehouse operations for bulky goods, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and cost‑effectiveness for oversized items.
• Oversee inventory control and accuracy for bulky products, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards specific to bulky goods.
• Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure seamless flow of bulky items.
• Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) tailored for bulky inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards, with a particular focus on handling large and heavy items.
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and procurement, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and specialized handling equipment for bulky goods.
• Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the warehouse budget, optimizing resource allocation for bulky operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management, with significant experience specifically managing bulky or oversized goods.
• Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and improving efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken). Chinese Mandarin knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to warehousing and bulky item handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and demanding environment.
• Experience with lean warehouse principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
