Branch Manager Strasbourg

JBAndrews is working with a rapidly expanding global logistics organisation seeking to appoint a Branch Manager to establish and lead a brand-new freight forwarding branch in Strasbourg . This is a unique opportunity to build an operation from the ground up within a well-established international network, with a strong focus on Air & Sea Freight solutions .

Key Responsibilities

Launch & Leadership

• Set up and develop the new Strasbourg branch, including operational, commercial, and administrative frameworks
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing local team
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high service standards

Commercial Growth

• Drive revenue growth across Air Freight and Ocean Freight services
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting key industries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and carriers

Operational Excellence

• Ensure efficient end-to-end freight operations with a focus on service quality and compliance
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and productivity
• Implement best practices aligned with global standards

Strategic Development

• Identify market opportunities in the Alsace region and wider cross-border markets
• Collaborate with European and global leadership teams
• Position the branch as a key hub within the wider network

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in freight forwarding (Air & Sea)
• Strong leadership experience with responsibility for P&L or branch performance
• Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition
• Strong understanding of the French logistics market (Alsace/Eastern France highly advantageous)
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build operations from scratch
• Fluency in French and English
