About the role

CGM is looking for a bookkeeper for France. As a leading provider of healthcare software solutions, we operate in 19 countries and employ nearly 9,000 dedicated colleagues.

Your responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with French GAAP and IFRS for international companies, including relevant notes to the financial statements.
• Maintenance, analysis, and reconciliation of local French GAAP books and confident reconciliation of differences with other accounting standards.
• Close collaboration with external payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with all local legal requirements.
• Proactive coordination with internal teams (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Business Controlling) to ensure smooth operations in the finance department.
• Preparation and timely filing of all local financial reports (e.g., sales tax returns, corporate tax prepayments, tax returns) and serve as a competent point of contact during the annual closing process for auditors, business controllers, management, and regulatory authorities.

What you bring to the table

• Several years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting, ideally in an international context.
• Excellent qualifications as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a successfully completed degree, preferably from a renowned university, in finance, accounting, or a comparable discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of French GAAP (required); experience with IFRS and/or HGB is a plus.
• Very strong Excel skills and confidence using reporting and analysis tools.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
