Group Finance Director
We are looking for a Group Finance Director to join the Board of Directors at TJN Ventures Group Ltd. This is an unpaid voluntary role and should appeal to someone who wants to use their financial expertise to support a growing, purpose-led organisation working across multiple service areas.
As Group Finance Director, you will help provide financial leadership, oversight, and strategic guidance across the group. You will support decision-making around sustainability, budgeting, growth, and responsible resource planning, helping ensure the organisation remains financially structured while delivering impact across its services.
This role is especially valuable as TJN Ventures continues developing support across areas such as VoIP and business communications, not-for-profit support, graphic design and branding, digital infrastructure, hosting, IT services, and business development support. You will help the board assess opportunities, manage financial priorities, and build confidence in the group’s long-term direction.
Ideal profile
- Strong financial, accounting, or commercial experience
- Able to think strategically and contribute at board level
- Comfortable reviewing financial performance and supporting structured decision-making
- Interested in purpose-led business, social impact, and sustainable growth
- Appreciates the value of services such as VoIP, digital infrastructure, branding, and support for not-for-profit – organisations
- Organised, analytical, dependable, and collaborative

Key responsibilities
- Provide board-level financial oversight across TJN Ventures Group Ltd
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the group’s services and operations
- Help review financial performance, spending priorities, and sustainability planning
- Contribute to strategic discussions around growth in VoIP, digital services, design, and community-focused support
- Support the development of sound financial controls, reporting practices, and accountability measures
- Help identify financial risks, efficiencies, and opportunities across projects and business functions
- Offer guidance on resource allocation, cost management, and long-term planning
- Work with leadership to ensure financial decisions align with the organisation’s impact-first mission
- Contribute to board discussions on partnerships, service development, and operational sustainability
