Blades Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities related to blade maintenance processes.
• Inspect and assess the operational level of the assessed blades.
• Administrative work related to hours, working conditions and operational reporting.
• Act according to safety rules and quality procedures related to blade maintenance activities, from awareness to the audit process, to ensure service level agreements and compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Know the blade repair processes, assess the complexity of the repair, carry out on‑site repairs with technical expertise and internal maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering certified by the BZEE certification if possible.
• A degree or a first professional experience as a composite material technician and/or wind turbines maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of technical English (written and spoken) and familiarity with the Office Pack.

Competencies

• Working with composite materials.
• Wind turbines experience as Service or Construction technicians in Vestas or non‑Vestas turbines.
• Working in confined spaces and at heights over 100 meters.
• Technical English.
• Comfort working remotely in a turbine as part of a team with limited supervisory interaction.
