Bioreactor Production Technician

• Perform production operations in compliance with procedures and GMP
• Complete batch records, computer systems, deviation forms and tracking documents
• Contribute to the planning and organization of production activities
• Manage raw materials, samples and inventory
• Collaborate with support functions: Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HSE, QC and Technical Support
• Participate in the start-up and technical/organizational setup of production workshops
• Plan, coordinate and take part in equipment and facility qualification activities
• Carry out user-level maintenance and qualification tasks
• Support commissioning and performance ramp-up of installations
• Contribute to the writing and updating of operating documents
• Help train future operators and new colleagues
• Assist teams in becoming familiar with equipment and procedures
• Take part in activity transfer projects and production implementation
• Contribute to the deployment of solutions such as MES and raw material codification
• Identify and implement technical and organizational improvements
• Participate in continuous improvement and industrial performance initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GMP and internal procedures
• Adhere to and enforce HSE and biosafety requirements
• Help maintain a compliant, safe and efficient production environment

Requirements

• Technical degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in industrial production, process engineering, biotechnology or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical production environment
• Good knowledge of GMP and traceability requirements
• Experience in equipment qualification/validation is a plus
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and on complex industrial projects
• Autonomous, rigorous, organized and proactive
• Strong communicator, able to unite teams around common objectives
