Biomedical Project Manager

We are supporting a fast-growing, venture-backed AI healthtech company developing advanced computational tools to transform how drug safety and risk–benefit decisions are made in pharmaceutical R&D.

This role sits at the intersection of biomedical science, data, and AI-driven healthcare innovation, and involves coordinating and driving complex, multi-disciplinary research projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery of complex R&D projects across multiple workstreams
• Act as the central coordination point between data science, clinical, bioinformatics, and external research partners
• Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are tracked and achieved
• Support projects involving real-world patient data and AI model development
• Maintain structure, alignment, and execution across multiple scientific stakeholders
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams
• Support reporting and visibility of project progress to internal leadership

Requirements

• PhD in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
• 3–5+ years post-PhD experience in academia, biotech, healthtech, or industry
• Proven experience managing complex scientific or research projects
• Strong understanding of biomedical data and translational research
• Exposure to patient data or real-world data environments strongly preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage environments
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward proactively
