Role Responsibilities

• Perform advanced segmentation of medical scans using 3D Slicer for anatomical and pathological modeling.
• Conduct 3D reconstruction and visualization of patient-specific anatomical structures from DICOM datasets.
• Customize 3D Slicer modules and develop Python scripts to automate and improve imaging workflows.
• Validate and optimize anatomical models for both clinical and research applications, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret imaging results and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain clear documentation of methodologies, workflows, and project findings.
• Stay updated on emerging tools and techniques in medical imaging and segmentation.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in 3D Slicer, including segmentation, DICOM processing, and quantitative analysis.
• Strong Python scripting skills within the 3D Slicer environment.
• Solid understanding of medical imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience validating anatomical models for clinical or research purposes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple imaging cases and documentation.
