Your mission

Your mission will consist of organizing the collection and processing of data (secretome, transcriptome, or imaging) under the supervision of a scientific lead.

As part of Genoskin’s R&D team, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of multi‑omics analysis pipelines. You will also manage existing pipelines in order to adapt them to the needs of current and future projects, and you will ensure the production of result reports aligned with project stakeholders’ expectations.

Finally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of these tools by integrating new approaches and methods from the scientific literature.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data generated from experimental research projects in transcriptomics (bulk and single-cell) and proteomics
• Contribute to the definition of study plans and data collection strategies best suited to the scientific question being addressed
• Design and develop database structures and information systems (digital, imaging, etc.)
• Develop new automated analysis methods to address scientific questions and Genoskin client needs
• Disseminate and promote scientific results and technological achievements through reports, patents, publications, and oral presentations
• Organize, clean, and manipulate large datasets generated at Genoskin
• Ensure the quality and relevance of analytical tools and generated results
• Develop open and educational analytical tools that can be used by other Genoskin researchers
• Guide and advise users on the implementation of study methods and interpretation of results
• Provide internal and external training on the principles and implementation of biological data analysis techniques
• Monitor and organize scientific and technological intelligence activities within the field

What You Need to Succeed

Knowledge

• Advanced knowledge in the collection, analysis, and processing of transcriptomic data
• Practical understanding of mathematical methods for multidimensional data analysis (PCA, t‑SNE, hierarchical clustering, statistical learning, etc.)
• Knowledge of machine learning and neural networks for data processing would be appreciated
• Knowledge of skin biology or immunology would be a plus

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming with R and Python
• Development of applications using R Shiny
• Proficiency with software required for transcriptomic data analysis (such as Seurat, Cell Ranger, etc.) and omics data analysis in general
• Proficiency in written and spoken scientific English
