Your Mission
As One Biosciences moves from research to clinical-grade diagnostics, robust and scalable data infrastructure is critical. We handle diverse, multi-modal datasets—from wet-lab assays to clinical samples—requiring high-performance pipelines and secure cloud environments.
As Bioinformatics Data Engineer, you will design and maintain bioinformatics pipelines, integrate them in AWS infrastructure, and ensure data processing from raw sequences to clinically meaningful output. You’ll work closely with computational biologists, research scientists and software developers to build a production-grade infrastructure for cutting-edge oncology diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for single-cell data analysis.
- Manage large-scale single-cell datasets using workflow management systems.
- Build, maintain, and evolve AWS-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with biologists and clinicians, supporting computational tasks.
- Test, document, monitor, and maintain codebases.
Experience & Skills
Experience 3+ years as bioinformatics data engineer, or computational biologist with strong coding practices.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with genomics or single-cell sequencing data .
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and pipeline development.
- Experience in designing and deploying scalable bioinformatics workflows .
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS or similar) for processing and managing large-scale biological datasets.
- Strong coding practices, attention to detail, and commitment to reproducible and maintainable pipelines .
- Ability to collaborate effectively with biologists, clinicians, and software engineers in a multidisciplinary team.
