You report to the EMEA Finance Director within the Order-to-Cash team and manage a team of 4 people. You oversee all customer billing activities across the EMEA region and ensure coordination with Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, and IS teams.

Responsibilities
Billing Oversight
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely invoicing
- Oversee billing processes in Workday
- Manage complex cases (multi-entities, multi-countries, specific contracts)
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations: VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing
- Update processes in line with regulatory changes
Process Management & Continuous Improvement
- Optimize billing processes in a constantly evolving environment to avoid any invoicing delays
- Contribute to transformation projects (tools, automation, e-invoicing)
- Define and monitor performance KPIs (billing cycle time, error rate, etc.)
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 people
- Structure roles, priorities, and skill development
Ensure a high level of engagement and performance
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in billing / order-to-cash
- Proven experience in team management
- Experience in an international environment
- Experience in the software / SaaS industry is highly desirable
Technical Skills
- Excellent expertise in complex billing processes
- Strong knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and e-invoicing
- Workday knowledge is a plus
- Good understanding of Order-to-Cash flows
Language Skills
- Fluent in English
- German is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong adaptability in a constantly evolving environment
- Attention to details and result-oriented mindset
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders (Finance, Sales, IS)
- Leadership and organizational skills
