Ipsos GIE is looking for a/an BI Functional Manager F/H

As part of the Management Information Systems (MIS) team, we are looking for a Manager to work on Functional Support for the Business Intelligence (BI) application.This web-based application has 11 800+ active users producing more than 3,7 million reports per year, and also generates more than 135 000 automated e-mail alerts per year for 6 000+ users, with

Responsabilities:

• Contribute to the annual BI application maintenance and development strategic plan and priorities, following the standard development and security protocol and the business requirements provided by Ipsos, by writing functional specifications, preparing setup tasks, conducting testing activities and managing the project planning and coordination. This includes potentially development of new BI reports and functionalities and the upgrade of existing BI reports to meet business needs.
• Maintain up-to-date end-user documentation on reports (help contents), process and application maintenance documentation, as well as support and training materials when required
• Provide training and ongoing end-user support using MIS support tools and escalation protocol, including data analytics.
• Assist or prepare ad hoc data analytics queries, validate and reconcile report content using business, finance and accounting acumen.
• Lead the BI User Council, in continuous liaison with end-users, to define and continuously improve the BI application features and contents, and to meet the business needs expressed by its stakeholders
• Work with the Development Team and the MIS Security Team on the target security setup (roles, permissions, scopes?), including regular reviews, process documentation and optimization.
• Collaborate with MIS team members when required, including on setup and testing activities. Ensure integration with other MIS systems in terms of structure and security.
• Participate to the ongoing technical support and maintenance of the Ipsos BI data warehouse and reporting system, following the Ipsos security protocol.

Based in Paris, the mission will encompass working with a multicultural team in a global environment in a matrix organization, across different time zones.The Manager will be working under the supervision of the BI Global Director and will be working closely with the Development team, in an IT environment.

Post-bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university (e.g. Masters, MBA or equivalent). A degree in Finance, Statistics or IT would be a plus.
