Job Title: BESS Sales Manager
Job Location: Paris, France
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced ESS Sales Manager to develop our energy storage business on a large scale. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and building strategic relationships with key industry players (utilities, developers, aggregators, etc.).
Main tasks:
- Develop new business opportunities in the large-scale energy storage (SSE) sector through active prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with major energy companies, project developers, and aggregators.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, ensuring rigorous follow-up of business opportunities.
- Coordinate sales activities with the European and World Headquarters to ensure a coherent and effective strategy.
- Perform in-depth market analysis (competitive intelligence, trends, SSE regulations) to anticipate sector developments.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering (preferably chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial or technical role, ideally in selling integrated BESS solutions to project developers.
- Excellent knowledge of energy storage technologies, especially lithium-ion batteries, and their specificities and advantages.
- Good understanding of French network codes and their impact on energy storage projects.
- Experience with or knowledge of the aggregator sector and their role in the energy market.
- Fluent in English.
