Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the General Manager France, the Bartop Sales Manager France is responsible for driving the development of the Bartop business across the French market, with a clear focus on the Spirit Valley region. This is a highly business development-driven role, playing a key part in structuring the market, opening new accounts, and establishing a sustainable and profitable presence in this segment, in close coordination with the French sales teams and the international Key Accounts organization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (primary focus)

  • Identify, prospect and develop a portfolio of clients within the spirits market (Cognac houses,
  • Build, manage and continuously qualify a robust Bartop sales pipeline
  • Drive proactive, hunter-led commercial initiatives aligned with company priorities

Account Management & Development

  • Take direct ownership of selected strategic Bartop accounts
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Lead commercial negotiations in a competitive and demanding environment

Commercial Coordination (France & International)

  • Work closely with the French sales force to deploy and grow the Bartop offering across local clients
  • Coordinate with the international Key Accounts team on global clients active in France
  • Ensure consistency in commercial approach between local and global accounts
  • Contribute to defining commercial priorities and action plans for the French market
  • Act as the key interface with production sites
  • Coordinate customer projects with internal teams (production, supply chain, customer service)
  • Ensure feasibility, alignment and execution of commercial proposals

Product, Pricing & Market Contribution

  • Contribute to the positioning of the Bartop offering in the French market
  • Support pricing definition and adjustments in coordination with marketing and industrial teams
  • Monitor market trends, competition and identify new opportunities
  • Contribute to the sales forecast and Bartop budget for France
  • Track commercial performance and adjust actions accordingly

Key Performance Indicators

  • Number of new customers acquired / reactivated
  • Pipeline quality and conversion rate
  • Development of client portfolio within Spirit Valley
  • Contribution to Bartop market share in France

Profile & Experience

Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in spirits, packaging, or a closely related industry is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in business development and new account acquisition

Education

  • Higher education in business, engineering, or related field
  • Background in oenology or strong knowledge of the wine & spirits sector is a plus

Languages

  • Other European languages are a plus

Location

  • Based in Cognac or nearby
  • Strong results-driven mindset with a clear focus on business development
  • Hunter profile, autonomous and well-structured
  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional and international environment
  • Good understanding of industrial constraints and ability to interface with technical teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term relationships with demanding stakeholders
