BACKEND ENGINEER

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Python developer to reinforce our team and contribute to our mission to deliver the best platform to our Users.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management, Frontend and Infrastructure teams to build our platform at scale.
• Innovate to tackle complex technical challenges using industry best practices.
• Guide & support team members to foster professional growth and continuous learning, embracing our culture of feedback.
• Challenge yourself and others. Explore new techniques to improve development processes.
• Deliver valuable new features to our users.
• Join a squad and implement major product initiatives to reinforce Sekoia's top European positioning in the cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Thriving in a constantly evolving environment and ensuring clear and effective communication within the team.

Qualifications

• 5 years professional experience in back-end development, ideally in Python.
• Autonomous in technological watch, up-to-date with latest standards (FastAPI, REST).
• Ensure code quality by following good development practices and performing unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Demonstrate architectural thinking.
• Strong communication skills.
• Driven by simplicity and efficiency.
• Proficient with modern SaaS technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Kafka, Celery, Redis.
• Curious about new trends and technological developments.
• Writing automated tests is obvious for you.
• Write and speak English fluently.

Bonus Points

• Experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience working with LLMs.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker ecosystems.
