Back Office Business Analyst

A leading investment management and capital markets organisation is looking to hire a Senior Accounting SME Consultant to join a growing strategic delivery team working on large-scale investment management transformation programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced accounting specialist with strong expertise across capital markets systems and post-trade environments to play a key role in major international client initiatives.

The organisation is investing heavily in its technology landscape and professional services capability, with several significant projects already underway across the investment management space.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the accounting SME across large scale implementation and transformation programmes
• Work closely with business users, technology teams, and stakeholders to define and deliver accounting solutions
• Lead accounting related workshops, functional discussions, and configuration activities
• Support the design and implementation of accounting workflows and operating models
• Contribute to strategic investment management and accounting initiatives across multiple client environments

Experience required

• Strong accounting systems expertise within capital markets, treasury, or investment management environments
• Extensive experience working with platforms such as Murex, Calypso, SimCorp Dimension, FIS Front Arena, or similar investment management and treasury systems
• Strong understanding of accounting configuration, accounting rules, and post-trade accounting processes
• Experience delivering accounting functionality within complex implementation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills
• Ability to operate as a senior hands-on SME within international delivery environments
