Back End Software Engineer (Azure) (h/f)

Are you an experienced Backend Software Engineer with strong cloud and AI-driven development skills?

emagine has an opportunity for you to drive the design and delivery of scalable backend applications with a global team.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (senior level)
• Strong proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g. .NET/C#, Java, Node.js, Python)
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization (Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC) and secure application design
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Cosmos DB)
• Expert-level Microsoft Azure and cloud platform experience, with microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions/workflows
• Proficiency with Agentic IDEs and "agent in the loop" workflows
• Fluent English

Tasks & Deliverables

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance software applications using cloud components
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews, and drive automation and process improvements
