Back end Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer/Back end Engineer to join our Core Backend Team, focusing on the (SSP/DSP). This role is oriented backend and involves building and maintaining distributed systems at scale.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions and ensure the reliability and stability of our platform.

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go
• Build and optimize distributed systems to support high-volume, low-latency auctions
• Collaborate with stakeholders including WebExperience (ad rendering and performance), InApp, DevOps, and Product teams
• Ensure reliability and stability through well‑defined SLIs and SLOs
• Participate in architectural discussions and influence long‑term technical direction
• Engage in Agile ceremonies: 2-week sprints, daily stand‑ups, grooming, retrospectives, and reviews
• Monitor and maintain system health using Grafana and Prometheus
• Work within the AWS ecosystem to ensure scalable and secure deployments
• Tech Stack: Go, Python, Lua, C/C++, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, DynamoDB, SQL, Redis, Grafana, Prometheus

What you will bring at Ogury

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
• Hands-on experience with Go or willingness to become proficient
• Knowledge of distributed systems and best practices for reliability and scalability
• Familiarity with SLI/SLO concepts and performance monitoring, memory and CPU profiling, caching
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across engineering, DevOps, and product teams
• AdTech experience is a plus, but not required (we’ll help you ramp up)
