Back End Developer

This opportunity is with a European technology company that designs and manufactures high‑end professional hardware systems combining real‑time processing, networking, and intuitive control interfaces.

Their products are used worldwide in demanding environments such as live events, broadcast, corporate presentation, and control rooms, where reliability and responsiveness are critical.

What you will do:

• Design and develop backend services using modern web technologies (Node.js / TypeScript)
• Build and maintain real‑time communication and synchronisation layers (WebSockets, event‑driven architectures)
• Integrate AI capabilities directly into backend systems (LLMs, AI‑powered features, automation workflows)
• Work on systems where performance, concurrency, and robustness are critical
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development practices
• Have strong experience as a backend developer (Node.js, TypeScript)
• Have experience with real‑time client/server systems (WebSockets, event‑driven or streaming architectures)
• Have hands‑on experience integrating AI/LLMs into products or backend systems (e.g. OpenAI, RAG, embeddings, AI‑powered features)
• Have a good understanding of performance, concurrency, and system optimisation
• Experience working with messaging systems (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ or similar) is a plus
