Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure DevOps Engineer required to join our global clients team in a permanent position based in Bordeaux, with 3 days per week required on-site.

You will play a key role in migrating existing on-premise/bare-metal infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, while helping to modernise the architecture, implement automation and CI/CD, and deliver scalable, secure and reliable cloud solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and supporting the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Containerising applications using Docker and deploying workloads to Kubernetes.
• Working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable.
• Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment workflows and automation.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
• Ensuring high availability, performance, security and reliability of cloud environments.
• Monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvements.
• Supporting the transition towards a scalable, cloud-native Azure architecture.

Essential:

• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/containerisation.
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
• Experience or good knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Linux/Debian systems and networking.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform/Tofu and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
