Skills & Experience

Expert-level experience in Fin

Ops and cloud cost optimisation

Strong hands-on expertise in Azure and AWS environments

Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of cloud architecture and cost drivers

Ability to translate technical findings into clear, business-focused insights

Proven experience working with Fin

Ops dashboards and reporting tools

High level of curiosity and proactive investigation mindset

Strong stakeholder communication skills, particularly when engaging governance bodies like CCo

EKey Tasks & Deliverables

Monitor and manage daily Fin

Ops dashboards to track cloud spend across Azure and AWSIdentify cost spikes, anomalies, and inefficiencies in real-time usage

Perform deep-dive analysis into cost deviations Prepare structured reports for the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCo

E), including:Root cause analysis of cost spikes

Quantification of financial impact

Clear remediation recommendations

Collaborate closely with Cloud Ops and Platform Engineering teams to ensure remediation actions are implemented

Track cost optimisation initiatives through to closure, ensuring realised savings or cost avoidance

Drive data-led decision-making through actionable insights and financial visibility
