Avionics Systems Architect, FPGA

• Define the avionics architecture for satellite and/or aeronautical platforms
• Define electrical interfaces and low-level communication protocols
• Design data flows, perform bandwidth analyses and manage on-board timing
• Participate in FPGA development and their integration into embedded systems
• Interact with equipment suppliers to ensure equipment compliance with system requirements
• Collaborate with systems and flight software teams to define Hardware/Software interactions
• Participate in investigations and resolution of technical anomalies
• Provide support for HW/SW integration activities, avionics Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT), and system validation and qualification phases
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings and report on activity progress
• Contribute to pre-sales activities by helping to develop innovative technical solutions for space and aeronautical projects

Requirements

• Master's degree (MSc/Engineering degree) in electronics, avionics, embedded systems or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the development of avionics or embedded electronic systems
• English: good command (reading, spoken and written)
• Experience designing avionic architectures and real-time embedded systems
• Proficiency in FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
• Familiarity with electrical standards (LVTTL, LVDS, RS422/RS485)
• Knowledge of embedded communication protocols (SpaceWire, UART, CAN)
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Rigour, autonomy and analytical mindset
• Security/defense clearance required: YES
