Responsibilities

• Review plans, wiring diagrams, and health and safety instructions
• Fabricate and install cable routing supports
• Perform metalwork operations (drilling) and cabinet supports
• Determine and route cables of appropriate cross-sections based on specifications
• Install electrical equipment and networks
• Install communication systems (internal telephony), surveillance systems (video and alarm), and signaling systems (digital displays)
• Identify risks, understand and strictly comply with safety rules, procedures, standards, and instructions
• Assemble and connect various equipment
• Inspect the installation before energizing
• Commission the installed equipment
• Troubleshoot and locate the source of malfunctions
• Perform tests (measurements, testing, programming)
• Perform self-inspections
• Report technical information and malfunctions to supervisor
• Install solar panels, batteries, and inverters

Candidate profile

We are seeking a candidate with BEP-CAP training in the electrical field. Entry-level candidates are accepted.

• Be autonomous in selecting necessary materials and operational methods in performing duties
• Know and comply with industry best practices
• Possess good manual dexterity
• Have a strong safety awareness (for oneself and others)
• Work with care and precision
• Hold electrical certifications (B2VL, B2V, B2XL, TST, BR, BC)
