Automation Implementation Owner - Lyon/Toulouse

Language Requirements: Fluent French and English (written and spoken)

Project Overview

Our Life Science client is executing a multi‑site automation implementation program covering manufacturing facilities in Lyon and Toulouse. The Automation Implementation Owner will act as the primary point of accountability for the technical delivery of automation solutions across both sites, coordinating engineering activities, managing stakeholder communication in both French and English, and ensuring project milestones are met within scope, quality, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end to end delivery of automation implementation activities across the Lyon and Toulouse sites
• Coordinate engineering, commissioning, and qualification activities with internal teams, contractors, and equipment vendors
• Act as primary liaison between site stakeholders, project management, and central engineering functions, communicating fluently in French and English
• Track project progress against timeline, budget, and quality milestones, escalating risks proactively
• Ensure automation systems meet applicable regulatory, safety, and validation requirements
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases across both locations

Profile Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automation Implementation Owner, Project Engineer, or similar role in an industrial or Life Sciences environment
• Fluent French and English required, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel between Lyon and Toulouse as required
