Automation Engineer (h/f/d)

Automation Engineer – Arpajon, France

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to all Capex projects across Europe. The role focuses on designing and implementing automation solutions to expand our production capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Create automation solutions for our Capex portfolio from concept through design, execution, testing and handover.
• Develop and maintain internal automation standards covering architecture, structure and interfaces with other areas.
• Coordinate internal and external resources on projects, such as vendors and programmers.
• Work closely with Automation Project Managers to provide technical solutions aligned with internal standards.

Projects are mainly executed in Arpajon, France, but may also involve other European sites.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Automation Engineering or similar, with experience in process automation solutions/systems.
• 4–10 years of experience with ABB 800xA or comparable platforms.
• Experience with ISA‑88 and batch systems preferred.
• Good command of English for design and software development.
• Results-oriented, proactive team player with strong communication skills.

Other Information

Work is primarily team-based at the site, with option to work from home when feasible. Short travels (approximately 4–5 times a year) across Europe for supervision and testing of external equipment are expected.
